This essay is a personal response and evaluation of your college experience to date. Include general observations of your experience both in and out of the classroom. Since I have started at William Penn University I have had to get used to a lot of different things and a totally different style of living, this is mainly due to the fact that I am an international student from the United Kingdom. I have had to adapt to a lot of different things in a very short space of time which, has definitely not been easy for me so far or from what I can tell will be in the foreseeable future.

One of the main things that I have had to get used to is the different styles of teaching/lecturing and also the classes themselves. From what I have seen so far University over here is a lot like being in Secondary School in England, which is close to the equivalent of American High School and this is one of the main things that I was not used to. Purely because, in English Universities you only concentrate on your decided major and you do not do any of the small classes for example, Maths or English. These subjects would have already been covered in Secondary School or High School and if you did do them in University would be integrated into the course/decided major itself.
However, this has in a way helped me to brush up on some of the techniques that are used in such classes in Maths and English as I have been out of education now for a while. So it has been a shock but also a great step into helping me progress further within my personal education.
