Terrorists, banks robbers and serial murderers, these are just a few examples of the evil people in our world. People that don’t change. It’s been proven that the over-whelming majority of all murderers go on to commit more homicides in their lifetime; a chilling fact. The thought that there aren’t sick, conniving individuals out there is ludicrous. Let’s take someone like Osama Bin Laden. He is consistently planning and setting up evil. These evil acts of terrorism are purely to cause mayhem and chaos in our world. The word evil can have many different meanings, such as “morally bad or wrong, causing ruin, pain or injury, or an evil force, power, or personification”. Only through experience though, can you understand evil properly. Evil does have a different meaning with people of certain religions, races, ages and gender, but the same principles apply across most people in our world. To me, evil is when people are deliberately hurting or ruining other people’s lives. Your upbringing and childhood also has a lot to do with the person are. If you sent two clones down two separate paths, one to a rich family, and another to a poor family they would grow up to be totally different individuals. At birth these 2 people are the same, but when they die, they are entirely different. They could have been exactly the same, but because of their upbringing they are entirely different people. People like Adolf Hitler for example. He was taught to believe that Jewish people are wicked; hence he decided to slaughter them. It’s so ironic though, because he thought he was doing the right thing by mankind. These people are often delusional. You would have to be extremely naïve though, to think that someone like Pol Pot (under his leadership of Cambodia, his government caused the deaths of at least one million people from forced labour, starvation, disease, torture, or execution).
