English Essay: A Place Where I Have Been?
My Private Day Care

A private day care, my home away from home.   I experienced an African adventure where

exotic plants flourished, a dominant aroma of spices tickled my nose and from wall to wall a

colorful, graphic and lively scene of nature and its wildlife surrounded me.   It was a magical

place filled with many expressions and vivid detail.   Theresa"s home was designed and crafted

with her own hands; it was original and unique.   From the art work on her walls to the nick

knacks on every ledge, it was her design.   The spectacular and fresh look on the outside to the

intimate workings and detail on the inside it told a story of her life and exposed what brought her

joy.

Theresa"s home was an imagination come to life, it was the one house on the block you

noticed almost immediately because its uniqueness was eye capturing.   A dark cherrywood hut

stood proud embraced by a miniature jungle, which was planted in an organized fashion just the

way she liked it.   The front yard was pathway of endless greenery and exotic plants which

brought fresh, sweet and sensuous fragrances.   Its beauty was truly astonishing and gave a

warm welcome to whom ever entered her magical garden.   Her home was worshiped by nature,

the way it cuddles and clings to her place makes it seem that there is no other that is as special.

The tall green pine trees bring her shade and her flowers bloom fierce, bright and appear

succulent, inviting all kinds of creepy crawlies to try a taste of heaven.

The magnificence of Theresa"s home does not end at the front door, in fact her artistic ness

is expressed throughout her home as well.   It was her small piece of Africa, with just a touch of

the modern world.   Yes of coarse there were two black leather couches, a t.v, a stereo, a toilette, a

kitchen table and appliances; it was not that much...
